These Instagram posts show that doing it yourself can help lower the costs of your coming out party!
1. You don’t have to hire an event stylist to decorate your venue. Just fill it up with pearl balloons in your favorite hues.
2. Execute a simple yet modern nail art design that will go with your debutante party dress!
Fall is coming!!! I can feel it in the air and found some evidence of it on our walk today. I’m so excited for cooler weather, scarves, fires and soup. What are you excited for? New nails for the week are a gel, wrap combo that I absolutely LOVE! I still have spots open for online September parties, get yourself some free and discounted rewards plus freebies from me. 4. Create a pretty photo booth backdrop with this quick and easy tassel garland project.

5. Create a massive chalkboard art collage based on all your favorite things—flowers, unicorns, and more! Using a chalkboard marker to keep things permanent, display the wall behind your stage or by the entrance of your venue.
6. If you’ve got some mad watercolor or lettering skills, why not make your own invites? Knowing that you cut, drew, painted, and wrote all the invitations will make guests appreciate them even more.
7. Set up a do-it-yourself bracelet booth for your guests so that they’ll remember you days or even months after your bash.
8. Ask family and friends to write special messages on Post-its transformed as cool wall decors! Don’t forget to choose the Post-it colors that match your party palette.
9. Use washi tape to decorate a plain jar filled with a candle. This will give your otherwise blah table décor extra sparkle!
10. Instead of using real flowers that will eventually wilt, go for paper roses for your 18 Roses! That way, you can keep and cherish them forever. (This bouquet has a travel theme because of the maps used as base.)

11. Who needs an official photographer to roam around the venue when you’ve got a Polaroid camera? Ask friends to take photos and leave the snaps on a wired frame.
12. Paint mason jars using complementary pastel colors. At the end of the night, these can be brought home by your guests to be used as a pen holder or flower vase.

13. This handmade giant floral letter might take a while to do, but the end result will be worth it! Made out of cardboard, hot glue, and fake blooms, you can hang it or put it over a stand.
14. Gold and silver join forces to make sparkly buntings and string decors. Another great idea for a photo wall!
